Are you ready for some football, A Wednesday night party?
If you’re reading this, hopefully you remembered that the NFL season kicks off Wednesday, September 5th. The annual “kickoff game” normally sees the defending Super Bowl champion host an opponent the Thursday after Labor Day to kick of the NFL season. This year, because of the Democratic National Convention, the season starts on Wednesday and sees the New York Giants host their division rival Dallas Cowboys.

2012 All Dangerfield Team
"I could tell my parents hated me. My bath toys were a toaster and a radio."
-Rodney Dangerfield 1921 - 2004
I miss Rodney Dangerfield, he was a classic. For those of you who may not be familiar with the great comedian, the theme of his act was “I don’t get no respect”. The theme goes well with this column seeing how it is a list of players who ‘don’t get no respect’ from fantasy league owners. I’m going to endeavor to put together a fantasy team, the All Dangerfield Team, of players who I feel are being drafted later than they should be and therefore represent ADP value for your draft. The following players currently have an ADP after the tenth round in standard leagues.

Dancing with Shane Vereen
Much like Mike Shanahan, Bill Belichick has gained the reputation that he is no friend to fantasy league owners when it comes to the running back position. But while Shanny seems to mess with his running game by switching successful RB’s for no apparent reason, I believe in Belichick’s case he simply has not had a back that he believes can do the job. I may be in the minority but I think Belichick will follow the stud running back approach once he finds someone he has confidence in.
