Sit / Start this week is going to be short and sweet with just the facts. Because league scoring settings vary so much, players I recommend sitting may be start worthy depending on your league settings and who else is on your roster. If you want more clarification or in depth analysis when considering one player over another please post in the comments section of this column, or message me on Twitter - @MPricer

On any given week, it seems like the NFL defies explanation. I just don't have an explanation for Chad Henne coming in for Blaine Gabbert and racking up 354 yards and four touchdowns despite completing a Tebow-esque 16 of 33 passes against, of all teams, the Texans. Houston hadn't allowed more than 25 points all year, and the Jags, lacking their starting quarterback and running back, exploded for 37 points. I'm just mystified.

Since we’re into the home stretch of the fantasy season, I decided rather than a detailed write-up on a single player I would specifically focus on injured players and their projections for the rest of the fantasy season. My advice will mostly apply to those owners who are on the playoff bubble. If you’re comfortably in a playoff position you can more likely sit on an injured player and wait for him to come back. In some cases List Him in reality means Drop Him if it’s not likely the player will return.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
When giving advice on who to play I prefer not to say ‘Start player x’ or ‘Sit player y’ because I don’t know who everyone has on their bench. Telling you to sit a borderline QB when all the options available to you in your league are worse doesn’t do you much good. So instead I’ll make references to the classic spaghetti western. Assume the players who aren’t mentioned here should produce within their usual point range.

There's nothing (nothing!) more harrowing than holding an all-too-slim lead with all your players done and Arian Foster yet to go for the other side. But Arian needed 19 points for the opposition, and he only made 17.70. There's nothing (nothing!) more glorious than just barely holding on against the best your enemy's got to offer. Here's hoping your teams and mine can do it all over again this week.
