Alas, injuries are an unfortunate part of football, and they do tend to have an impact on our pretend game. Here are some notable injury updates, and how they may affect your decision making process this week.

 

 

 

 

 

Quarterbacks:

 

Tom Brady (NE): Probable

Brady (right shoulder) has been limited in practice, but should be fine again for Sunday.

Joe Flacco (BAL): Questionable

Joe (mild MCL sprain) will be limited all week, but should play on Sunday.

Case Keenum (HOU): Out

Case (right thumb) has been officially ruled out for Sunday against the Broncos.

EJ Manuel (BUF): Out

Manuel (knee) has been officially ruled out for Sunday.

Carson Palmer (ARI): Questionable

Palmer (ankle) has yet to practice this week, but at this point is still expected to suit up on Sunday in Seattle.

Aaron Rodgers (GB): Questionable

Rodgers (collarbone) did practice Wednesday and could possibly return this week.

 

 

 

Running Backs:

 

Andre Ellington (ARI): Questionable

Andre (quad) was limited in practice Wednesday, but is expected to give it a go on Sunday in Seattle.

Toby Gerhart (MIN): Questionable

Toby (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday and his status for Sunday is not known at this time.

Fred Jackson (BUF): Questionable

Freddie (ribs) did not practice Wednesday, but is still on course for Sunday.

Chris Johnson (TEN): Questionable

Johnson (knee) did not practice Wednesday, but is expected to play on Sunday.

Maurice Jones-Drew (JAX): Questionable

MJD (hamstring) missed the Buffalo game and has yet to practice this week. This does not bode well for his availability on Sunday.

Eddie Lacy (GB): Questionable

Lacy (ankle) did not practice Wednesday as a precaution and should be able to play on Sunday against the Steelers.

Ryan Mathews (SD): Questionable

Mathews (foot) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, but should be fine for Sunday.

Darren McFadden (OAK): Questionable

Darren (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday, but his status for this Sunday is still murky at best.

Adrian Peterson (MIN): Questionable

AP (foot) returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday and could very well play this Sunday in Cincinnati. His status will be updated later in the week.

Ray Rice (BAL): Questionable

Rice (thigh) did not participate in practice Wednesday, but is expected to suit up this Sunday against the Patriots.

Jonathan Stewart (CAR): Out

Stewart (MCL) has been officially ruled out for this Sunday against the Saints, but does have a chance to play in the season finale.

Ben Tate (HOU): IR

Tate (ribs) was placed on injured reserve and will miss the final two games of the season.

 

 

 

Wide Receivers:

 

Victor Cruz (NYG): Questionable

Cruz (concussion/knee) has multiple ailments and his availability for Sunday is very much in doubt at the moment.

Aaron Dobson (NE): Questionable

Dobson (foot) returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday and does appear to have a chance to play on Sunday.

Larry Fitzgerald (ARI): Questionable

Fitz (concussion) did not practice Wednesday and is in the midst of the league concussion protocol. His status for Sunday is not known at the moment.

Michael Floyd (ARI): Questionable

Floyd (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday, but should be fine again for Sunday.

Percy Harvin (SEA): Questionable

Harvin (hip) is still not practicing and will likely miss another game this Sunday. 

Vincent Jackson (TB): Questionable

Vincent (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday, but will very likely play this Sunday in St. Louis.

Andre Johnson (HOU): Questionable

Andre (wrist) missed practice Wednesday, but is expected to suit up on Sunday.

Calvin Johnson (DET): Questionable

Megatron (knee) sat out of practice Wednesday, but should be good as always for Sunday.

Steve Johnson (BUF): Doubtful

Stevie (personal) is not likely to play this Sunday because of family issues related to the passing of his mother.

Brandon Marshall (CHI): Questionable

Marshall (quad) did not participate in practice Wednesday, but at this point should be good to go for Sunday. His status will be updated later in the week.

Cecil Shorts (JAX): IR

Shorts (groin) has been placed on injured reserve and will miss the final two games of the season.

Steve Smith (CAR): Questionable

Smith (finger) will be limited in practice this week, but should be fine for Sunday.

Kenbrell Thompkins (NE): Questionable

Thompkins (hip) has missed two consecutive games, but did practice on a limited basis Wednesday. However, his status for Sunday in Baltimore is still unclear.

Wes Welker (DEN): Questionable

Welker (concussion) missed the San Diego game and has not practiced this week. His chances of playing this week are slim, but this is subject to change.

 

 

 

Tight Ends:

 

Jordan Cameron (CLE): Questionable

Jordan (concussion) is going through the standard concussion protocol and his status for Sunday is unknown at this time.

Tony Gonzalez (ATL): Questionable

Gonzo (toe) missed practice Wednesday, but should play once again on Sunday barring any further developments.

Garrett Graham (HOU): Questionable

Graham (hamstring) missed last week at Indy and has yet to practice this week. His status for Sunday is unclear at the moment.

Marcedes Lewis (JAX): Questionable

Lewis (thigh) has been limited at practice this week, but is expected to play on Sunday. 

Zach Miller (SEA): Questionable

Zach (ribs) did not practice Wednesday, but should be okay again for Sunday.

Greg Olsen (CAR): Questionable

Olsen (foot) missed practice again Wednesday, but just like last week he should be able to give it a go once more on Sunday against the Saints.

Brandon Pettigrew (DET): Questionable

Brandon (ankle) has not practiced this week and is not looking good for Sunday.

Jordan Reed (WAS): Questionable

Reed (concussion) has still not returned to practice and could be shut down for the final two games of the season.

 

 

 

Kickers:

 

All of the kickers appear to be in good health.
