Alas, injuries are an unfortunate part of football, and they do tend to have an impact on our pretend game. Here are some notable injury updates, and how they may affect your decision making process this week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Quarterbacks:

 

Tom Brady (NE): Probable

Brady (right shoulder) has been limited in practice, but should be fine for Sunday.

Jay Cutler (CHI): Questionable

Cutler (high ankle sprain) is finally back at practice, but his status for this Sunday has yet to be determined.

Peyton Manning (DEN): Probable

Peyton (right ankle) has practiced in full this week and is good to go for Thursday night.

Carson Palmer (ARI): Questionable

Palmer (right elbow) has been limited in practice again this week, but should be okay for Sunday in Tennessee.

Aaron Rodgers (GB): Questionable

Rodgers (fractured collarbone) has been more involved in practice this week, but will very likely miss another game this Sunday.

 

 

Running Backs:

 

Reggie Bush (DET): Questionable

Reggie (calf) missed the game in Philly last Sunday after tweaking the calf, but is expected to play on Monday night against the Ravens.

Andre Ellington (ARI): Questionable

Andre (knee) was able to play this past Sunday and is practicing on a limited basis this week. He should be good to go in Tennessee.

Toby Gerhart (MIN): Questionable

Toby (hamstring) injured the hammy in relief of AP in Baltimore and has yet to see the practice field this week. His status for Sunday is not known at this time.

Frank Gore (SF): Questionable

Gore (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday, but is likely to play again on Sunday in Tampa.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis (CIN): Questionable

The Law Firm (illness) sat out of practice Wednesday, but should be okay for Sunday night in Pittsburgh.

Rashad Jennings (OAK): Probable

Rashad (concussion) did have to sit out this past Sunday, but practiced in full Wednesday and is on track to suit up this week.

Maurice Jones-Drew (JAX): Questionable

MJD (hamstring) will not be practicing until Friday at the earliest, and his status for Sunday would have to be considered very much in doubt at the moment.

Eddie Lacy (GB): Questionable

Lacy (ankle) did not practice Wednesday and could be the dreaded game time decision for this Sunday in Dallas.

Marshawn Lynch (SEA): Questionable

Lynch (shoulder) sat out of practice Wednesday, but this is nothing new, and he should be beasting yet again on Sunday in New York.

Darren McFadden (OAK): Questionable

Darren (ankle) has not yet returned to practice and could possibly miss another game this Sunday.

Lamar Miller (MIA): Probable

Miller (concussion) was concussed in Pittsburgh, but practiced in full Wednesday and is looking good at the moment for Sunday.

Knowshon Moreno (DEN): Probable

Moreno (shoulder) is dinged up a bit, but is looking good for Thursday night.

Adrian Peterson (MIN): Questionable

AP (foot sprain) will not attempt to practice until Friday, and his availability for Sunday is very much in question.

Jonathan Stewart (CAR): Out

Stewart (torn MCL) has been officially ruled out for this Sunday.

 

 

Wide Receivers:

 

Michael Crabtree (SF): Questionable

Crabtree (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday and should play this Sunday in Tampa.

Eric Decker (DEN): Probable

Decker (ribs) has practiced all week and is expected to play on Thursday night.

Aaron Dobson (NE): Questionable

Dobson (foot) has not yet returned to practice and could be in danger of missing another game on Sunday.

Michael Floyd (ARI): Questionable

Floyd (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, but should be fine for Sunday.

Percy Harvin (SEA): Questionable

Harvin (hip) is still not practicing and will likely miss another game this Sunday. 

DeAndre Hopkins (HOU): Questionable

Hopkins (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday, but should be able to play on Sunday.

Vincent Jackson (TB): Questionable

Vincent (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, but is expected to play this week against the 49ers.

Denarius Moore (OAK): Questionable

Moore (shoulder) missed another game last week, but did practice Wednesday and is expected to return on Sunday.

Eddie Royal (SD): Questionable

Eddie (toe) has practiced on a limited basis this week and should play on Thursday night.

Cecil Shorts (JAX): Questionable

Shorts (groin) did not practice Wednesday, but has been playing through this injury for several weeks and should do so again this Sunday.

Demaryius Thomas (DEN): Probable

Thomas (shoulder) has practiced in full this week and is good to go for Thursday night.

Kenbrell Thompkins (NE): Questionable

Thompkins (hip) missed last week’s game and was limited in practice Wednesday. His status is still a bit unclear at this time.

Wes Welker (DEN): Out

Welker (concussion) was concussed against the Titans and will not play on Thursday night.

Roddy White (ATL): Questionable

Roddy (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, but is expected to suit up on Sunday.

 

 

Tight Ends:

 

Tony Gonzalez (ATL): Questionable

Gonzo (toe) did participate in practice Wednesday on a limited basis and should play again on Sunday.

Rob Gronkowski (NE): IR

Gronk (torn ACL and MCL) suffered a devastating injury on Sunday and will miss the remainder of the season.

Zach Miller (SEA): Questionable

Zach (ribs) did not practice Wednesday and his status for Sunday is uncertain at this time.

Greg Olsen (CAR): Questionable

Olsen (foot) missed practice Wednesday and his status for Sunday is unknown at the moment.

Jordan Reed (WAS): Questionable

Reed (concussion) has still not returned to practice and may be in danger of missing yet another game.

Kyle Rudolph (MIN): IR

Rudolph (foot) has been placed on injured reserve and will miss the rest of the season.

Julius Thomas (DEN): Probable

Julius (knee) has practiced all week and should be fine for Thursday night.

Delanie Walker (TEN): Probable

Walker (concussion) missed the game in Denver this past week, but practiced in full Wednesday and should be good for Sunday.

 

 

Kickers:

 

Josh Scobee (JAX): Questionable

Scobee (left hip) missed practice Wednesday, but if he is anywhere near your roster the playoffs are likely a distant memory.
